Summer bodies are made in the winter....oh wait!!!

Many of you have probably heard the saying "winter is coming" before, and I don't mean to cause widespread panic, but it is true. However, judging by the lighter mornings and evenings and the clocks changing in a couple of weeks, I would say that winter is close to turning into spring, although the weather may still seem wintery! But there is still hope! It's not too late to hit the gym and get in shape, but time is running out fast. Whether you want to lose body fat, get lean, or build some muscle, hard work and commitment to your training and nutrition will get you there. If you find it hard to motivate yourself to get to the gym, then Challenge Life has some solutions for you. There are plenty of classes to make use of, start-up packages available, personal training and group personal training. So no matter how much guidance you want or need, there is a service to get you results.

Here are a couple of tips to help you get results leading up to your summer holidays:

  1. Be consistent with your training; don't miss sessions and track your progress to keep progressing week upon week.

  2. Push yourself. You won't get the results you want if you stay in your comfort zone. A great way to do this is to train with someone else and motivate each other, have someone to spot you if needed, and a bit of friendly competitiveness is always fun!

  3. Plan your food for the week, and don't buy any foods that may sabotage your progress. If they're not in the house, you're less likely to eat them.

  4. If you are short on time, try meal prepping so you don't have to cook every day. Cooking in bulk and putting it in the fridge or freezer is a great way to save time and make eating well convenient.
